Getting to Nerja
The nearest airport is Malaga and flights are available from most UK and European airports. Among the usual carriers - BA, Easyjet & Ryanair, also look at Vueling and Whizz Air. Getting to Nerja from Malaga airport is easiest by taxi, which you can get from the airport, or there is a reliable local Nerja taxi company which arranges pick-ups and drops-off from and to the airport, Jaime Tours, info@taxiairporttonerja.com

Once You're There
Nerja is affectionately known as "The Jewel of the Costa Del Sol."
It was once a fishing village and it still retains its Andalusian seaside charm. It is famous for its rugged mountains and pristine beaches as well as the Nerja Caves which are worth a visit.

Nearby places worth exploring include the cities of Malaga, Seville, Granada and Cordoba - all of which have wonderful sites to see and are within a couple of hours drive - maybe add a few extra days to your trip? There are also some lovely local pueblos (villages) which can be reached easily from Nerja. These include Ronda, Competa, Frigiliana and Acebuchal. Madrid and Barcelona can both be accessed by train or plane.
